Frida came to me first as a feeling, a quiet echo of something familiar. Inspired by the spirit of Frida Kahlo, I felt a deep connection to her courage, her symbolism, and the way she expressed her truest self. Over time, ''Frida'' became the part of me that dreams wild, paints truths, and dances barefoot through life. She’s the muse, the mystery, the mirror. My name is Josephine Anna Francina — often called Josje — and somewhere along the way, some began to call me Frida too. Frida’s Backyard is the space where all parts of me come home together. 🪞

This backyard is built on everything I’ve remembered, released, and reclaimed: years of searching, healing, falling apart, and rising again. Moments in Peru that cracked me open. Breathless walks through nature. Hypnotherapy that led me into hidden chambers of my own being. Tears and laughter, rage and wonder. 🔱
